At GS-7 to GS-13 the resume does the ranking work now. Two pages have to prove you already do the job one grade below the one you want.

This is the band where the specialized experience match decides everything, because self-assessment questionnaires stopped rating and ranking candidates on September 30, 2025. Answering the questionnaire well is no longer enough. Your resume has to substantiate every answer you gave, and a validated skills assessment does the ranking.

Staying one grade below where you belong for another year is the most expensive thing on this page, and it is not the price.

What you get

  • Your two-page federal resume. Written to the current OPM standard, documented against the announcement's specialized experience statement in your own language, and built so every questionnaire answer you give has a matching line on the page defending it.
  • Your comprehensive Master Resume. Your complete career in full detail, no length limit, yours to keep and keep adding to. When the next announcement drops, your writer pulls from this instead of interviewing you again, which is why the second application is faster and sharper than the first.
  • Before we write a word, we pull the actual assessment questionnaire attached to your announcement and build the resume so every answer you give is provably supported. Most applicants never see that questionnaire until they are already answering it.
  • Coaching on the four essay questions. There are four, they are the same four government-wide, and they are capped at 200 words each. We structure them with you and pull the right example out of your own career. You write every word, because you certify that you did.
  • Your questionnaire, audited line by line. Eligibility, preference, conditions of employment, every self-rating. Contradictions between a questionnaire and a resume are caught here, not by the panel. If you rate yourself higher than your application supports, your answers can be adjusted or you can be excluded, so we make sure the page backs you up.
  • We confirm the path is actually open to you before you pay. Some federal moves only work if a specific condition is true, and that condition is usually sitting in the announcement where nobody reads it. We would rather tell you first than take the order.
  • Written age-neutral, always. No graduation year, no phrasing that answers how old you are through math. The document should never volunteer it.
  • Checked by someone who did not write it. A separate reviewer with no stake in the work reads it against everything you told us before it reaches your inbox.
  • A civilian resume or a full LinkedIn overhaul, your choice, included. Either one sells for more than $250 on its own.
  • Unlimited revisions, plus 30 days of retargeting. Revisions fix what we delivered. Retargeting re-aims your resume at a new announcement. The 30 days start when your Master Resume and your first targeted resume are final, not at first draft, and you can pause the clock for up to 3 months, or up to 6 months if you are active duty.
  • Delivered in 2 to 4 business days. If you have a real closing date, tell us before you order.

Need it faster? A 24-hour rush option is available at checkout.

Active-duty military and veterans: Use code MILVET10 for 10% off.

Is this your tier?

  • Silver, this page, is GS-7 to GS-13. Mid-career specialists, NCOs and officers, and anyone whose next move is a grade up rather than a first federal job.
  • Bronze Federal Package is GS-1 to GS-6.
  • Gold Federal Package is GS-14 to GS-15, where a subject matter expert in your job series reviews the resume before it goes out.

Before you order

Do I have to be a veteran?
No. We are veteran-owned and a lot of our clients are veterans, but the federal packages are built for anyone applying through USAJOBS. Teachers, analysts, nurses, engineers, first-time federal applicants. If you found us through the veteran side of the site and wondered whether you were in the wrong place, you are not.

I only have one announcement. Can I just buy one resume?
Ask on the call and we will price it honestly. Look at the math first, though. The package carries 30 days of retargeting, so your second and third announcements are a re-aim rather than a rewrite, and most people who tell us there is only one posting are applying to three within a month.

The job I want is not posted yet.
That is common, and it is fine. A targeted federal resume is written against the announcement itself, so the posting going live is what starts the tailoring. We build your Master Resume first and turn the targeted version around the day it posts. When it does, send us the control number rather than the announcement number. Announcement numbers often return nothing in USAJOBS search, and the control number always finds it.

Should this job go on my resume?
Bring us the whole picture including the parts you are unsure about. A short contract or an hourly job usually earns its place, because it keeps you currently employed with no gap on the page, and instructing or evaluating people is real work that reads as real work. Deciding what makes the cut is our job, not yours.

Where does my security clearance go?
OPM's own content guidance lists a current security clearance as an optional item to include when it is relevant, so the answer depends on your announcement and on what you are comfortable putting in writing. We will tell you what we would do and you decide. If it goes on, it goes on the resume, the Master Resume, and the cover letter header consistently.

Can I edit the documents you send me?
They are yours. You get an editable Word file for exactly that reason. Send it back after your edits if you want a second read, and we will tell you straight whether anything you changed weakens it.

I have a disability or personal circumstances. Does that go in the application?
The resume is not where personal circumstances belong. What can matter is whether you qualify for one of the separate appointment authorities, such as Schedule A or the 30 percent or more disabled veteran authority, each of which has its own documentation. We will walk you through which ones apply to you and what each one needs. We will not put anything about your health on a document.

The four essay questions, and who writes them

Announcements at GS-5 and above now carry four standardized essay questions, the same four government-wide, capped at 200 words each. You certify that the answers are your own words and that you did not use a consultant or AI. Anyone offering to write them for you is offering to make your certification false, and your name is the one on it.

We coach. You write. We sit with you, structure the answer, find the right example out of your own career, and tighten it until it is strong and it is still yours. Two things worth knowing that almost nobody tells applicants: the answers are never scored or rated, and not answering them cannot disqualify you.

We check the rules every time, because they keep moving

Since September 27, 2025, USAJOBS will not accept a federal resume longer than two pages, and an over-length resume makes an applicant ineligible for further consideration. There are real exceptions, and we read your announcement rather than assume. VA clinical roles under Title 38 are not held to the two-page limit, and some announcements carve themselves out.

We check agency requirements, GS-level requirements, and OPM's most up-to-date guidance so every resume we deliver is in 100% compliance at the time it is written. Every federal claim we make comes from OPM, USAJOBS, or the Federal Register, and we will send you the source.

110,000+ clients served since 2014. 17 former federal hiring managers on staff, 28+ certified resume writers, 65% of us served.

100% Human-Written. Zero AI. Zero Outsourcing. We succeed when you get hired, not when we deliver a PDF.
