The SES application is the hardest hiring process in the federal government, and since 2025 it starts with two pages.
The old multi-page ECQ packet is gone. For competitive career SES, your Executive Core Qualifications and your technical qualifications have to be visible inside a two-page resume, and separate ECQ narratives are not accepted. Then OPM assesses those ECQs through a structured interview at the Qualifications Review Board. Most executives are still preparing for the process that existed two years ago.
What you get
- Your two-page SES resume. Executive scope, ECQs and technical qualifications demonstrated inside the document itself, because that is what a competitive announcement now asks for.
- Your comprehensive Master Resume. Your unabridged executive record, no page limit, yours for life. This is what you populate your USAJOBS profile from and what you prepare from before the board.
- Structured interview preparation for the QRB. OPM now assesses your ECQs through a structured interview. We prepare the examples, in Challenge, Context, Action, Result form, that carry your record into that room, and we prepare you for the agency panel separately.
- Narrative work scoped to your announcement. Technical qualification statements appear on some senior announcements and not others. We read yours and coach what it actually asks for, in your words. We do not sell you a fixed count of narratives the current process may not use.
- Before we write a word, we pull the actual assessment questionnaire attached to your announcement and build the resume so every answer you give is provably supported.
- We confirm the path is actually open to you before you pay. SES has more than one route in, and which one is yours changes what you need. We would rather tell you first than take the order.
- Written age-neutral, always. No graduation year, no phrasing that answers how old you are through math.
- Checked by someone who did not write it. A separate reviewer with no stake in the work reads it against everything you have told us before it reaches you.
- Both a corporate executive resume and a full LinkedIn overhaul, included. Not a choice between them. Together they sell for more than $600 on their own, and they mean you are ready for a private-sector board conversation the week the government one stalls.
- Unlimited revisions for 60 days. Through the application window, starting when your Master Resume and your first targeted resume are final, pausable for up to 3 months, or 6 months if you are active duty.
- Delivered in 3 to 5 business days.

What changed, and why most SES advice you will read is out of date
The five Executive Core Qualifications were replaced on October 1, 2025. There are 15 competencies across the five. Agencies were directed to stop using 10-page narrative essays and move to a resume-only initial application capped at two pages. And beginning in FY 2026, OPM runs a structured interview as the method for assessing ECQs at the QRB. OPM's own older guidance describing the retired multi-page narrative methods is still reachable online, which is exactly why candidates arrive prepared for a process that no longer exists.
If you are a current SES member, an OPM-approved SES CDP graduate, or reinstatement eligible, you do not respond to the ECQs at all. You attach proof. We will tell you which route is yours before you spend a weekend writing.
Before you order
Do I have to be a veteran?
No. We are veteran-owned and a lot of our clients are veterans, but this package is built for anyone competing for a Senior Executive Service, Senior Level, or Scientific and Professional position.
Where does my security clearance go?
OPM's own content guidance lists a current security clearance as an optional item to include when it is relevant, so the answer depends on your announcement and on what you are comfortable putting in writing. We will tell you what we would do and you decide.
Can I edit the documents you send me?
They are yours. You get an editable Word file for exactly that reason. Send it back after your edits if you want a second read, and we will tell you straight whether anything you changed weakens it.
I have a disability or personal circumstances. Does that go in the application?
The resume is not where personal circumstances belong. What can matter is whether you qualify for one of the separate appointment authorities, such as Schedule A or the 30 percent or more disabled veteran authority, each of which has its own documentation. We will walk you through which ones apply to you and what each one needs. We will not put anything about your health on a document.
I am not sure SES is the right target yet.
Say so on the call. If your next move is really a GS-14 or GS-15 seat, the Gold Federal Package is the honest answer and it costs less. We would rather place you correctly than sell you up.
We check agency requirements, GS-level requirements, and OPM's most up-to-date guidance so every document we deliver is in 100% compliance at the time it is written. Every claim comes from OPM, USAJOBS, or the Federal Register.
110,000+ clients served since 2014. 55+ subject matter experts, 17 former federal hiring managers, 65% veteran staff.
100% Human-Written. Zero AI. Zero Outsourcing. We succeed when you get hired, not when we deliver a PDF.
