Four questions, 200 words each, and your signature on a certification that the words are yours. This is how you write them well without putting that certification at risk.

Most federal announcements at GS 5 through 15, plus Senior Level and Scientific and Professional roles, now include four standardized essay questions. They are the same four government-wide. You certify that the answers are your own words and that you used no consultant and no AI. That is exactly why this service is built as coaching.

Your coach structures each essay with you, runs a live working session, gives you written feedback on the drafts you write, and does a final compliance read against current OPM guidance.

Two things almost nobody tells applicants

• The answers are not scored or rated. They are read by the hiring manager and agency leadership, more like a cover letter than a test.
• Not answering them cannot disqualify you. Skipping them is allowed. Writing four weak ones in a hurry is the avoidable mistake, and that is what this service exists to prevent.

Before you order

Can you just write them for me?
No, and you should not want us to. You certify that the answers are your own words and that no consultant and no AI helped you. If we wrote them, that certification would be false and your name is the one on it. What we do instead is sit with you, structure each answer, find the right example out of your own career, and tighten your draft until it is strong and it is still yours.

Do I need to have bought a resume from you first?
No. This is a standalone service. Plenty of people come to us with a resume they are happy with and only need the essays handled properly.

What if my announcement does not include the essay questions?
Then you do not need this. Tell us the announcement before you order and we will check. If the questions are not on it, we will say so and point you to what would actually help.

Where we draw the line

Under the OPM Merit Hiring Plan of May 29, 2025, applicants certify that their narrative responses are their own words and that no consultant was used. We coach and we outline. We do not write them for you. Any service that offers to is offering to make your certification false, and it is your name on the form, not theirs.
