How this started
In 2023, a VA Veteran Readiness and Employment counselor found us and asked if we'd help one of her veterans. We said yes and didn't charge him. The VA's employment team added us to the resources their counselors share, and it grew from there. Today VR&E counselors and employment coordinators around the country send us their veterans every week.
We're a small service-disabled veteran-owned business in Virginia, and we've been writing free resumes for veterans since 2014. More than 10,000 by our count. Every one of those veterans gets the same resume our paying clients get, written by our team, at no cost to them or to the VA.
The honest part: we pay for all of it ourselves. Last year that was about $30,000 out of our own pocket, and the referrals keep growing. We don't want to slow this down, and we will never charge a veteran for it. We want to grow it until it reaches every veteran in need.
That's what sponsorship pays for. Nothing else.
